Inter-Baseball Card Dealer Watch Line
(Protecting the Hobby from Fraud) "Keeping Collecting Fun"
BaseballBallCardBuyer.com Inc., in conjunction with the Inter-Baseball Card Dealer Watch Line (IBCDWL), in order to protect the integrity of the Baseball Card industry - posts information regarding individuals, that those in the Hobby should be most careful in entering into transactions with. It receives its information from both buyers and sellers in the Hobby - thoroughly verifies and only when necessary posts its *Buyer Beware List.Because the Baseball Card Hobby has basically no formal regulatory or governing body, a Good Dealer and Bad Dealer List has been a staple in the Hobby for more than 25 years.
As of March 14, 2008 A.D.
*Buyers should beware of the following dealers:
(List is ordered alphabetically)
- All Vintage Ball Cards - Owner, Mr. Robert DiMare (Farmington, Minnesota)
(Reason - in the capacity of working in the Baseball Card industry Mr. Robert DiMare - purposely vandalized a fellow dealer's financial documents on 06/07/05 which he, Mr. Robert DiMare, "reluctantly" admitted to doing (the sinful act of vandalizing) to a judge in a Minnesota Court of Law on 04/04/06. In addition Mr. Robert DiMare lied to at least one collector [seller] - regarding an important, transaction involving rare vintage baseball cards. (Reported to the Better Business Bureau -see below)
- Pro Grading Company - (Florida)
(Reason - although not a dealer, the Pro Grading Company [who advertises as a professional sportscard grading company] has been documented as exhibiting questionable practices in their procedure of grading - also the Pro Grading Company has a reputation in the Hobby of notorious "overgrading" of cards.)
The moderator of the Inter-Baseball Card Dealer Watch Line (IBCDWL) is a member of the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
The BBB reports on members and non-members.
